My Mom just came back from a trip to Europe and she had some great stories to tell me. She said dogs are everywhere in Italy!
And they can GO anywhere!
She was amazed to see dogs sitting in restaurants! And when she had to make a sudden trip to a mall, dogs were there too. Just cruising around with their families INSIDE of the mall. There were even dogs in the Apple Store!
At a Dog Park near by, dogs were running around and having a great time. There were Dog Parks all over the place in Europe and they were huge!
Even advertising was different there. Many signs were themed just for dog lovers. Unfortunately, my Mom can't read Italian, so she couldn't understand a lot of them, but I still think that's awesome!
One evening when walking along a street in Italy, my Mom noticed a dog just hanging out in front of a clothing store. She went over to say "Hi" and the doggie's Dad said that she
came to work with him every day. How cool is that?
There were even dogs trotting around the train station. And little ones like me! I was actually a little jealous about that. I've always wanted to go on a train ride....
Needless to say, the walk ways were filled with happy, tail waging canines traveling around with their families.
It's good to know that Dogs around the world are having a great time. And it's pretty cool to know that people in other countries make dogs feel so welcome.
I also think WE need to change things around here. After all, I'd like to take a trip to the mall. Or even hang out on a train. Or be able to go to the many places my foreign friends can go.
When my Mom goes back next year, maybe I can go too! I'll go ask her.....hey, Mom!
